Short Biography
Lucia Marucci was born in L'Aquila on 25 February 1982. She was awarded in 2007 a “Laurea cum laude” Degree in Mathematics (5 yrs. University study, equivalent to master), with a thesis regarding applications of Functional Data Analysis in collaboration with Musical Informatics Laboratory of the University of Genova (ing. Antonio Camurri). Her research interests are in systems and synthetic biology with particular emphasis on the modelling, identification and non-linear analysis of Gene Regulatory Networks in Systems and Synthetic Biology. She is a third year Phd student at the Department of Informatics and Systemistic of Univeristy Federico II (Naples) and develops researching assistance at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM) in correspondence with the COBIOS (Engineering and Control of Biological Systems) European project.
